Connecting Grassroots Needs with Institutional Frameworks

Creating meaningful opportunities for young people requires bridging the gap between local talent and national institutional frameworks. On August 12, 2026, Dr. Muhammad Adeel, General Secretary of LIVE Association, met with Malik Muhammad Ramzan Dhap, Deputy Director of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), at the NAVTTC Office in Islamabad.
The bilateral meeting focused on youth empowerment, technical and vocational education, and strategies to improve access to market-relevant skills for young people across Pakistan, particularly in underserved districts such as Dera Ismail Khan and broader Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Connecting Grassroots Needs with Institutional Frameworks

Across Pakistan’s districts, towns, and rural communities, thousands of motivated young people possess immense potential. However, accessing high-quality technical education, recognized skill certifications, and practical career guidance often remains challenging due to geographical and information barriers.
As national technical education standards evolve, direct engagement between civil society organizations and regulatory bodies ensures that grassroots realities inform skill development strategies. During the session, Dr. Muhammad Adeel and Malik Muhammad Ramzan Dhap exchanged insights on several key priorities:

Identifying Local Skill Deficits:
Discussing specific practical, vocational, and digital skill needs required by youth entering today's competitive job market.

Promoting Technical & Vocational Awareness:

Exploring ways to ensure young people in remote regions are fully informed about government-backed technical training programs and national skill standards.

Complementing Practical Learning:

Examining how community-focused, project-based initiatives can prepare learners to excel within formal vocational frameworks.
By maintaining open channels of communication with institutions like NAVTTC, community initiatives can better align their local mentorship and training efforts with recognized national criteria, enhancing the long-term employability of young participants.

The Role of Practical Learning in Sustainable Empowerment

As national technical education standards evolve, direct engagement between civil society organizations and regulatory bodies ensures that grassroots realities inform skill development strategies. During the session, Dr. Muhammad Adeel and Malik Muhammad Ramzan Dhap exchanged insights on several key priorities:

At LIVE Association, our approach centers on practical, practical empowerment. We recognize that awareness alone is insufficient; young people need structured environments where they can build real capabilities, test their knowledge, and connect with viable opportunities.
Through our Innovation Lab initiative, LIVE Association works to bridge the divide between academic instruction and real-world application. Engaging with key stakeholders at NAVTTC helps refine these learning models, ensuring that our digital literacy, technical workshops, and mentorship offerings reflect current industry demands and national educational benchmarks.

Building Lasting Community Impact Through Dialogue

Sustainable community development is not achieved through isolated actions, but through shared knowledge, ongoing dialogue, and collective effort. Meetings like this executive dialogue in Islamabad represent vital steps in understanding broader systemic challenges and exploring joint solutions for youth advancement.
LIVE Association remains committed to engaging with public sector institutions, educational bodies, and community partners to open new doors for learning and growth. By working together, we can build clear, accessible pathways for young talent across Pakistan.
Slogan: Live to Empower, Lead to Inspire.
